Okayno Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Data we collect

• Sign-up: name, email, password (stored as a hash), date of birth, country, languages.
• Profile: photo, bio, city, social media, and contact fields you choose to fill in.
• Location: only when you open the "Same" tab and grant permission — used to calculate distance to other users. Never tracked in the background.
• App usage: voted items, connections, okayno balance, purchase history.
• Device: push notification token to deliver relevant notifications.

2. How we use it

Your data powers Okayno's features: ranking, groups, "Same" by city/country, connections, notifications. We don't sell data to third parties. We don't show targeted ads.

3. Who we share it with

• Other Okayno users: your name, photo, bio, city, and country are visible to anyone who opens your profile. Email, phone, WhatsApp, and social media only appear if you enable them in your visibility settings — or, automatically, for users you accepted as connections.
• Service providers: Expo (push notifications), Google Firebase (Android push delivery), Apple APNs (iOS delivery), Google Play / Apple In-App Purchase (payments). They only receive the minimum required.
• Authorities: in case of a court order.

4. Security

Passwords are stored with bcrypt. Transmission is always over HTTPS. Session tokens expire after 90 days of inactivity.

5. Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is wiped within 30 days, except records required for legal purposes (e.g. tax receipts for purchases).

6. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access and edit your data inside the app ("My Profile" screen)
• Block other users (no one sees what you don't want them to see)
• Request full account deletion via the in-app button or by emailing okayno@ark95.io
• Request a copy of your data (LGPD art. 18 / GDPR art. 15)

7. Children

Okayno is not intended for users under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, it will be deleted immediately.

8. Changes

We update this policy as the app evolves. Previous versions are available upon request.
